The Park & Paddle Black River Shuttle

July 30, 2026

The Black River is right here. Now getting from point A to point B just got a whole lot easier! 🛶

The Park & Paddle Black River Shuttle is a self-service kayak shuttle running on the Black River Saturday June 27 and August 29. This is a transportation service, not a guided experience. No staff will be on the river. No one will be at the launches. Read everything below before you go so you know exactly what to expect.

HOW IT WORKS

1️⃣ Drop your kayak and paddlers at the lower Lyons Falls launch
2️⃣ Drive your vehicle to whichever launch you want to end at — Burdick's Crossing or Glenfield
3️⃣ Catch the shuttle back to Lyons Falls — $10 cash per rider
4️⃣ Meet your group at Lyons Falls, launch, and paddle the Black River back to your car

That's it. Simple as that.

THE ROUTE

🔹 Lyons Falls → Burdick's Crossing - 4.1 miles
🔹 Lyons Falls → Glenfield - 8.6 miles

Choose your distance. Park your car at the end. Paddle back to it.

SHUTTLE TIMES

Shuttles depart Glenfield at 7 AM, 8 AM, and 9 AM, stopping at Burdick's Crossing en route back to Lyons Falls. Pick the time that works for your group and be at your launch ready to board.

COST

$10 per rider - cash only
